What is a Software Vendor?

A Software Vendor is someone who is licensed by Betfair to provide software applications developed using the Betfair API to other Betfair customers. 

Under the terms of the Betfair Software Vendor Licence a Vendor can:

• Use the API to create betting apps and distribute these to Betfair customers
• Enable Betfair Exchange betting on your website
• Get certified and promote your app in the Betfair App Directory
• Use the Vendor Services API to manage user subscriptions in order to monetize your app. 
• Integrate Betfair Exchange functionality within your existing website.

Please note:  All new Software Vendor applications are subject to a license fee of £499 payable when the applicaton has been submitted for security certification.
